  Symposium 2026 in Aachen.\nAll those interested in working with Finesse v
 ersion 3 are welcome to join us from 9.00-12.00 on Monday\, 15th June in A
 achen.\nThe Workshop will be held in the same main building as the ET Symp
 osium\, and include\n\nintroductory presentations\na hands-on session \ni
 n-person help to those who want to try out Finesse 3\n\n \nThis is an in-
 person workshop and we do not plan for online participation. More events\,
  some of which online\, will be scheduled later this year.\nFinesse is an 
 interferometer simulation software for designing and commissioning laser i
 nterferometers. After more than eight years of development\, we will final
 ly be ready to formally release Finesse version 3.0 to everyone during the
  ET Symposium. \nThis pre-Symposium Workshop is the first in a series of 
 activities we’re planning to celebrate the launch and help people to get
  started with the new version – so keep an eye out for other events too 
 (e.g. we’re thinking of a similar activity at a Virgo week later this ye
 ar).\nThis event does not require any additional free\, but the workshop v
