Description
The workshop will be held with a hybrid format - online and live at EGO.
The idea behind the workshop is to get a very clear overview of what we know, from the theory
to the tests we have already done, as a starting point to a discussion what we might be missing. We will have presentations by experts followed by discussion on the following topics:
- Optical tuning, focus: how can we model the optical field in the doubly recycled interferometer with marginally stable cavities; how can we measure, tune the operating point;
- TCS, focus: methods to measure/control the thermal state of interferometer optics;
- Sensing and control, focus: comparison of LSC and ASC signals with predictions from models.
