This is a follow-up workshop to start developing the ET baseline optical layout for the L configuration, based on the work carried out during the past two workshops: March and April.
The style of this workshop will be the same as the past ones, that is, no presentations but hands-on simulations style.
The primary goal will be the large-scale layout of the 15km - 2L optical layout configuration. With large-scale we mean the elements larger than 5-10m:
- Arm cavities
- Recycling cavities
- IMCs / Filter cavities: same logic as for triangle configuration will be applied as a first approximation.
- First estimation of the connections between them
We also have prepared a list of secondary goals that could be addressed if the relevant people would be available.
