Purpose of the Meeting

In this meeting, we will look at how to arrange reviews of software and models that influence the design of the Einstein Telescope. We will use the optical layout work as an example to set requirements, responsibilities, and procedures.

Location

The meeting will take place in Hamburg at DESY, Luruper Chaussee 149, Hamburg. Room location TBD.

Travel

You can reach Hamburg either by airplane (HAM), or by train (choose Hamburg-Altona as destination, this is the train station closest to DESY and all of the long-distance ICE trains anyway go there after they have passed through Hamburg Central Station). From Hamburg-Altona, take bus number 2 in front of the station (direction Schenefeld-Achterndiek or Schenefeld-Aneken) and get off at Luruper Chaussee/DESY. This takes ca. 20min.

Accommodation

There is the "Mercure Hotel Hamburg am Volkspark" right next to DESY. You might want to look for hotels along bus lines 2 or 3, towards Hamburg-Altona train station or the city center. For example, "B&B Hotel Hamburg-Altona" is conveniently located.
