How to reach the Campus with Metro + bus from City Center:
The Monte Sant'Angelo Complex is located about 10 minutes by public bus from Napoli Campi Flegrei train station, and about 35 minutes from the city center.
In front of Napoli Campi Flegrei station, there are several buses that go to Monte Sant'Angelo: R6, S1, 180. The bus terminus is located, exiting from Napoli Campi Flegrei station, on the left side of the square (leaving the station behind).
The metro, buses, and all other public transport can be used with the same Unico ticket, which is valid for 90 minutes and costs €1.70.
TRANSPORTATION
How to reach Naples.
By train: Naples can be reached by train from Rome in about 2 hours (with high-speed trains the duration is about 1 hour). Almost all trains arrive at the main railway station Napoli Centrale (or Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, same place but lower level).
By plane: Naples International Airport is connected, with direct flights, to major Italian cities and numerous European cities. The "Alibus" bus connects the airport directly to the railway station and the seaport and has a frequency of about 15 minutes.
By car: From the North, take the A1 motorway towards Naples, take the ring road towards Pozzuoli and exit at Fuorigrotta. Turn right towards Soccavo; Monte Sant'Angelo will be on the left after about 300 meters.
City transportation to the Campus
Monte Sant'Angelo is located about 2.5 km from Napoli Campi Flegrei railway station, which is connected to the city center and other railway stations via metro line 2, which you can take at the main railway station (Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, on the lower level of Napoli Centrale railway station), towards Pozzuoli. The frequency of trains on Line 2 is approximately every 10-15 minutes, and the travel time from Garibaldi to Campi Flegrei is about 20 minutes.
