Getting from BER Berlin Brandenburg Airport by public transport
BER Airport is located only 12 km from the MAD25 venue. It is connected with the city by several buses and city train lines. The fastest and the most convenient way to get to the venue by public transport is a direct city train line (S9 or S45)
To use a city train (S-Bahn), follow the signs at the aiport to the underground train station. The city train lines S9 and S45 will take you directly to the Science and Technology Park Adlershof. Take off at the station Berlin-Adlershof. The ride will take about 20 minutes.
Please, be aware, that you must purchase and validate a ticket before getting on the train.
The ticket machines are located by the entrance to the underground train station as well as on the platforms. You would need a ticket for ABC zones.
The fare for a single trip ticket is 4.30 EUR.
To validate your ticket please use a red machine located on the platform. Remember that travelling without a validated ticket may result in a fine.
Please note that you ticket is valid for 2 hours and can be used for any public transport (city train, metro, bus, tram and ferry) within this time limit.
City train station Berlin-Adlershof is located within easy walking distance of 1.2 km from the venue and 500 m from Airport Hotel Adlershof. However, if you prefer a ride, you can use a tram 63 or M17 from Berlin-Adlershof train station: take off at Walter-Nernst-Str. for Airport Hotel Adlershof (1 stop) and at Karl-Ziegler-Str. for the MAD25 venue (3 stops).
Getting from Berlin Central Railway Station (Berlin Hbf) by public transport
Berlin Hbf is 22 km away from the MAD25 venue. There are numerous means of transportation available at Berlin Hbf, but the fastest and the most convenient way is a direct city train line S9 that runs with 20 min tact.
To use a city train (S-Bahn), follow the signs at the station to the Platform 15 on the overground level. Use the city train line S9 (direction of Flüghafen BER) and it will take you directly to the Science and Technology Park Adlershof. Take off at the station Berlin-Adlershof. The ride will take about 35-40 minutes.
Alernatively you can use a non-direct connection by taking a city train S7 (direction Ahrensfelde), take off at Berlin-Ostkreuz station and change to S8 (direction Widau) or S85 (direction Grünau) that both depart from Platform 11. These will also bring you to Berlin-Adlershof.

Getting from BER or Berlin Hbf by taxi
In case you prefer to use a taxi from BER airport or the Central Railway Station, follow the signs to the designated taxi stop. The ride to the MAD25 venue from BER airport will cost around 40 EUR and from Central Railway Station around 50 EUR.
There are also taxis available through the taxi-apps Freenow, Uber and Bolt.
