Travel
Opatija enjoys excellent connectivity through multiple transportation modes, making it easily accessible for visitors. The picturesque Adriatic coastal town can be reached by car, train, bus, and airplane, with several airport options at varying distances. The closest is Rijeka Airport at just 26km away, while other convenient choices include Pula (106km), Trieste (113km), Zagreb (170km), and Venice (222km). For train travel, Trieste serves as the best option due to its rail connections. From any of these airports, bus and shuttle services can be arranged with advance booking for an additional fee, ensuring seamless onward travel to the destination.
The shuttle buses can be booked via form. The prices of the shuttle busses vary accordingly to occupancy and distance. For example, a van with eight places costs from 150 EUR from Trieste up to 350 EUR from Venice. This number is to be divided by occupancy, thus going from approx 20 EUR from Trieste to $= EUR from Venice. We will try to occupy the vans as efficiently as possible. Please fill the form before Monday 27th October. Then we will contact you with the schedule and occupancy/price. You can then decide if it suits your needs.
