Due to a nationwide general strike affecting both public and private sectors, transportation services may be disrupted on May 17–18. The strike schedules are as follows:
Rail services: from 9:00 PM on May 17 until 8:59 PM on May 18
Local public transport (TPL): disruption schedules determined locally
Ferry services to major islands: from 1 hour before scheduled departures on May 18
Taxi services and ferry services to minor islands: from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM on May 18
Motorway services: from 10:00 PM on May 17
Participants traveling after the conference concludes on May 17 are advised to check transportation schedules in advance and allow extra travel time.
The 14th KAGRA International Workshop (KIW 14) will take place on 15–16 May 2026 in the Raffaello Room at the Sina Brufani Hotel, in Perugia
The KAGRA International Workshop focuses not only on the KAGRA project but also on the other gravitational wave detector experiments, gravitational wave sciences, and multi-messenger astronomy.
This workshop is open to all scientists who are interested in gravitational wave-related research and multi-messenger astronomy.
