Trains

Maastricht is very well connected by train:

  • in the Dutch railway network with direct trains to several large cities every 30 minutes.
  • to the German railway network through Aachen (trip 1 hour, every 30 minutes)
  • to the Belgium railway network through Liège (trip 30 minutes, every hour)

Planes

If traveling by train is not your prefered environmentally friendlier option, the nearest airport is Maastricht-Aachen, however more frequent flights are available via:

  • Brussels Zaventem airport (1½ hours from Maastricht);
  • Cologne-Bonn airport (2 hours from Maastricht);
  • Eindhoven airport (2 hours from Maastricht);
  • Amsterdam Schiphol airport (3 hours from Maastricht).

Automobiles

Maastricht is located along the European Highway E25 (fun wiki link: E25 - From Rotterdam to Palermo, through Sardinia), highway A2 in the Netherlands.

Parking in Maastricht is not cheap, €4/hour, max €35/day, but "Q-Park SG Entre Deux" is located 50 meters from the venue.

Alternatively, Q-Park Frontenpark at 10 minute walk has a €9/day rate through online reservation.
