There were several campaign to measure acoustic noise at the Sos Ennatos over past two years. The measurements were taken both on the ground and at several stations underground. I will present the analysis of the spectra, variability of the noise as well as discus correlation between noises at the site.

The civil and environmental engineering activities for the ET sustainable design in Sardinia are quite comprehensive and focused on ensuring optimal placement, environmental sustainability, and operational efficiency of the underground and surface research infrastructure. To facilitate comprehensive environmental and structural assessments, key activities include the utilization of...

This study investigated the Newtonian noise level in the ETpathfinder facility and the VIRGO gravitational wave detector. Identical seismic and infrasound measurement systems were installed at both places, which allowed comparison of noise levels in the frequency range of approximately 4 to 30 Hz for seismic noise and 1 to 30 Hz for infrasound. This research contributes to developing more...

The candidate site for the Einstein Telescope (ET) in Italy is situated within the high-topography crystalline basement of northeastern Sardinia, selected for its seismic stability and isolation from significant active faults and hydrothermal circuits. To constrain this geological stability in unprecedented detail, we investigate the crucial role of time in assessing relief formation. Mountain...

Over the last year, we calculated seismic noise levels at borehole stations and corresponding surface stations to estimate appropriate levels and daily, weekly, and annual variations. In summary, we find that all sites reach a noise level below 1e-7 m/s2/√Hz on average but show distinct frequency peaks in PSD/PPSD reaching higher values. The Meuse–Rhine Euroregio and Lausitz sites show a clear...
