Description

Einstein Telescope (ET) will open a new era of gravitational wave observations, extending the lower upper frequency edge to O(1Hz), where GW231123-like astrophysical or primordial intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs), or more massive, could be observed. In this talk, I will discuss the role of different ET designs and planned locations in measuring the IMBH intrinsic and extrinsic parameters, and possibly understand its origin, and I will further discuss estimates of the number of detected events per year.
