Public Transport:

In Aachen the local bus company ASEAG is providing various services inside the city.

The bus stop "Aachen, Technische Hochschule" is in front of the main venue building. Only one line is directly connecting to it. The alternative bus stop "Aachen, Driescher Gässchen" is approximately 250 m away from the venu. It is served by many services.

Tickets can be bought direktly at the driver or via different apps of websites.

Deutschlandticket
The Deutschlandticket is a convenient and affordable option for traveling throughout Germany using public transportation. With the ticket you can use any local train, bus and tram. Currently the ticket costs 63 € per month. It is available in the naveo app or at bahn.de.

Trains:

Aachen is well-connected by train, making it easy to reach from various cities.

Cologne (Köln): direct trains run frequently, taking approximately 1 hour.
Düsseldorf: direct trains run frequently taking approximately 1 hour.
Frankfurt: via high-speed trains about 1 hour and 40 minutes (DB ICE trains)
Brussels: via high-speed trains about 1 hour and 30 minutes (DB ICE trains & Eurostar)
Paris: via high-speed trains about 2 hour and 45 minutes (Eurostar)

Airport:

We will offer a direct transfer after the meeting on Friday at 13:00 to the two airports Düsseldorf (DUS) and Köln-Bonn (CGN). Please toggle the option in the registration.

There is a direct train service from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to Aachen.

Parking:

Parking in the close vicinity of the main building is limited. For the usage of the official RWTH Aachen parking lots a special ticket is needed. Please toggle the option in the registration. The ticket allows parking in a separate parking house (Professor-Pirlet-Straße 10) of the RWTH Aachen University. A walk to the main building takes 10 min. We recommend using public transport for the travel to Aachen.
